Welcome to our support group

The purpose of this group is to provide compassionate support for adults who have experienced trauma, childhood abuse or neglect.

If you are interested in being part of our group, please feel free to join us. As of August 2018, our group is still active and running weekly. For more information, please email [email protected] (please do not comment below as this website is not monitored regularly).

Date: Every Monday

Time: 6:00 to 8:00 pm

Location: Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre, 1145 Carling Ave. The meeting room is the back of the Women's Resource Centre on the 2nd floor of the main building (please ask for directions at reception).

Transportation: A number of buses go by the Royal. If you’re driving, there is pay & display parking at the main entrance and along the ring road that circles the hospital campus. There is also a free parking lot at Westgate Shopping Centre about a block away to the west, and free parking in the neighbourhood across Carling.

Cost: There is no charge for attending the group. Donations toward meeting costs are welcome.

Please note that the group does not have a professional facilitator, and borrows meeting space at the Royal only - group members are not patients of the Royal.
