Ottawa support group for trauma,
childhood abuse & neglect

This group provides compassionate support for adults who experienced childhood abuse or neglect.

If you are interested in being part of our group, please feel free to join us. As of January 2019, our group is still active and running every second Monday. For more information, please email [email protected] (please do not comment below as this website is not monitored regularly).

Date: Every second Monday (Starting Monday April 8 2019)

 December 16 December 30 etc

Time: 6:00 to 8:00 pm

Location: Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre, 1145 Carling Ave, Room 1404 (please ask for directions at reception).

Transportation: A number of buses go by the Royal. If you’re driving, there is pay & display parking at the main entrance and along the ring road that circles the hospital campus. There is also a free parking lot at Westgate Shopping Centre about a block away to the west, and free parking in the neighbourhood across Carling.

Cost: There is no charge for attending the group.

Please note that the group does not have a professional facilitator, and borrows meeting space at the Royal only - group members are not patients of the Royal.
